SAFARIS | CONSERVATION | MEDIA

Luke Brown

I am an entrepreneur, luxury safari expert and avid conservationist.

I grew up in Zimbabwe, appreciating the diverse people and expansive wilds of Africa. A lot of my time is spent living, in deep appreciation, ‘On the Edge of a World Wonder’, Victoria Falls. I also travel extensively with my wife, Suzanne and our two daughters, Charlotte and Annabelle, exploring what this incredible planet has to offer.

I love to share my experiences of Africa’s safari cultures, whilst always yearning to learn and discover more. I am equally passionate about showcasing the stories of those whom I admire and respect in travel and conservation. There are so many wonderful people doing incredible things, and shouting about their accomplishments gives me great pleasure.

Our Earth’s wild spaces are connected to us all, whether we feel it, know it or not. I am fortunate to have grown up with a strong appreciation for how nature benefits us as a species and why I need to give back and encourage others to do the same.

'On the Edge of a World Wonder'

In order to showcase all the magic that happens in the Zambesia region of Africa I started teaching myself how to capture and share my experiences, as well as those of others.

Using my handle @LukeBrownZim I try to collectively showcase it all through my personal media channels.

Vayeni - Extraordinary Safari Experts in Africa

Suzanne and I jointly founded Vayeni in 2010. Pronounced Vaay-ehh-nee, this word means ‘visitors’ in a few African languages. In Africa visitors are truly taken care of and this inspired the name.

Our love for luxury travel, coupled with an extensive background in the industry led us to start Vayeni. We create tailor made safaris for guests seeking out one-of-a -kind experiences.

The responsible journeys we design take our guests to the finest accommodations and wilderness areas across Africa and its islands. Our envied experience, natural skills and well established network have meant that we can often make the seemingly impossible come to life.

Zambesia Conservation Alliance

In 2020 when tourism began suffering, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Suzanne, Robin (my brother) and I co-founded the Zambesia Conservation Alliance (ZCA).

Our goal is to positively help shape and influence the conservation landscape across the Zambesia region, which covers seven countries and more than one million square kilometres that is home to the largest remaining herds of African elephants on the planet. Building ZCA is both a privilege and an ongoing effort, and forms part of my life’s work.

Victoria Falls TV collaborates with local entities in the Victoria Falls area to bring all the positive flavours of the destination to an online audience. The Safari Family

I am blessed with a beautiful family and we all love to travel. Whilst we travel all over the world, our favourite place to be is somewhere on safari in Africa.

We capture our adventures together and share them through our channels so that we can inspire other families to have adventures of their own in Africa.
